If your LLC was formed in another state (e.g., Delaware, Wyoming, Florida) and is registering to do business in New York, foreign LLC publication is a fixed price per county — $300 more than domestic LLC publication.
The higher price reflects the longer Notice of Qualification required under Section 802 of the NY LLC Law. This notice includes additional information (home state, formation date, home state office address) that requires more newspaper space.
Example: Albany County domestic LLC = $395. Albany County foreign LLC = $695.
PLLC Publication
Professional LLC (PLLC) publication is the same fixed price as standard LLC publication for the same county. The notice is nearly identical in length.
